Fitzgerald, a treasury agent who used his keys to steal prime barrels of wheated bourbon from government bonded warehouses. Larceny shares the historic, soft "Old Fitzgerald Distillate" (O.F.D.) mash bill with Heaven Hill’s ultra-premium Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond decanter series.

Larceny Barrel Proof is pulled from barrels aged between 6 and 8 years. Because it is bottled directly from the cask without water dilution, the alcohol volume and specific flavour profiles vary noticeably by release. Heaven Hill issues three distinct small-batch versions every year (in January, May, and September) using an explicit batch code system (e.g., A125 represents the first batch of January 2025; C924 signifies the third batch of September 2024).
