Product description
From British Columbia, Canada, Laughing Stock Vineyards is nestled on the Naramata Bench in the Okanagan Valley. Founded by former financial executives Cynthia and David Enns, the winery has gained renown for its meticulous approach to viticulture and small-lot winemaking, reflecting both precision and personality in every bottle.
Wine Description
The 2022 Laughing Stock Pinot Noir displays a luminous ruby colour with garnet undertones. On the nose, it offers a refined bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, and dried rose petals, layered with subtle notes of forest floor and baking spice. The palate is elegantly structured with flavours of cranberry, pomegranate, and a hint of clove, supported by fine-grained tannins and a vibrant acidity. This medium-bodied wine finishes with silky persistence and a whisper of toasted oak. Crafted entirely from Pinot Noir, it is best enjoyed now through 2028 for optimal expression. The wine exhibits freshness and complexity, showcasing the terroir of the Naramata Bench.
Food Pairing
This wine pairs beautifully with herb-crusted salmon, duck breast with cherry glaze, or wild mushroom risotto. These combinations enhance the wine’s aromatic complexity and supple texture. A perfect match to enhance the wine's complexity.
