Maison Lavau, established in 1964 by the Lavau family originally from Bordeaux, has deep roots in the Rhône Valley. Today, brothers Benoît and Frédéric Lavau manage the estate, collaborating with over 350 growers across France to produce wines that marry tradition with accessibility. The Envyfol range, inspired by a label discovered in their grandfather's cupboard from 1967, embodies a spirit of conviviality and shared moments.
Wine Description
The 2022 Lavau Envyfol GSM is a blend of 45% Grenache, 40% Syrah, and 15% Mourvèdre. It presents a deep ruby hue and offers aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet supple, with fine tannins and a lingering finish that showcases its GSM character.
