On a hill north-east of Montosoli, 300 meters up in the air, Le Chiuse spans over a mere seven hectares, exclusively planted with Sangiovese Grosso, only one classified Rosso di Montalcino DOC.
Managed by Simonetta Valiani and Nicolo Magneli, this estate is closely linked to the famous Biondi Santi family who, at the time, used certain property parcels to create its legendary "Reserva" cuvees in the Brunello di Montalcino appellation.
Opening on notes of preserved cherry and dried flower notes, it also presents mild spice, cinnamon and undergrowth accents. A ready-to-drink wine evoking traditional Tuscan style.
