Wine Description

'Retouche' pays homage to the 19th-century Bordeaux practice of ‘Hermitaging’, where winemakers added Syrah to their blends to provide warmth and roundness. This wine is typically a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah.

The sensory profile is complex and powerful, featuring a deep garnet colour. On the nose, it offers a melange of dark fruits such as blackberry, cassis, and plum, interwoven with savory notes of cigar box, grilled bell pepper, and earthy undertones.
