Product description
France’s Loire Valley is home to Domaine de l’Oiselinière, located in the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation of the western Loire. This historic estate, situated in the village of Gorges, dates back to the 17th century and has long embraced sustainable and organic viticulture. The estate’s distinctive terroir, with granite-rich soils and proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, imparts a remarkable freshness and minerality to its wines.
Wine Description
Pale straw in colour with green reflections, the 2024 vintage of L’Oiseliniere Muscadet 'Sur Lie' offers a vibrant bouquet of lemon zest, green apple, and crushed oyster shell. On the palate, it delivers a lively interplay of citrus and saline notes, supported by a light to medium body and a laser-focused acidity. The wine finishes clean and mineral-driven, showcasing excellent tension and purity.
Food Pairing
An ideal companion to oysters, clams, and mussels, this wine also pairs beautifully with chèvre and fresh salads. Its bracing acidity and saline edge enhance the umami character of seafood, while the lees aging complements creamy textures. Together, they create an unforgettable dining experience.
