Los Siete Misterios Ensamble 4 Mezcal originates from Mexico, in the southern region within the subregion of Oaxaca. Founded in 2010 by brothers Julio and Eduardo Mestre, the brand was established to support local master distillers and preserve time-honoured artisanal mezcal making traditions. This special expression is an ensamble, crafted by co-fermenting and co-distilling four distinct agave varieties together in small batches using traditional clay pot stills.

Spirit Description

This artisanal mezcal presents a crystal clear appearance with bright silvery reflections in the glass. The rich and multi-layered nose reveals an complex aromatic profile of roasted agave, fresh herbs, earthy clay, and wild flowers, balanced by subtle fruitiness and a gentle wave of woodsmoke. On the palate, the body is full, smooth, and well balanced, delivering harmonious flavours of cooked agave, sweet citrus, minerals, and dark pepper. The finish is remarkably long, dry, and elegant, leaving trailing notes of earthy smoke, sweet spices, and lingering herbal brightness. This artisanal spirit is traditionally bottled at an alcohol by volume of 47% to 48%.
