Product description

This additive free, higher proof blanco tequila originates from Mexico, produced in the Los Altos region of Jalisco. Founded by Arturo Lamas III to honour his family's agave heritage, the spirit is crafted under Master Distiller Sergio Cruz at the renowned Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados distillery (NOM 1414) in Arandas. Selected as a special single cask release for the Southern Ontario Sippers (SOS) community group, this expression is made from mature Highland Blue Weber agave cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens, open air fermented with champagne yeast, and double distilled in copper pot stills.

Spirit Description

This unaged single cask tequila presents a crystal clear, luminous appearance with rich viscosity in the glass. The nose opens with expressive notes of sweet cooked agave, vibrant lime peel, and garden herbs, supported by wet stone minerality, subtle olive brine, and cracked black pepper. On the palate, it delivers a full, slightly oily mouthfeel that balances intense roasted agave sweetness with citrus zest, spearmint, and earthy minerality, underscored by concentrated pepper spice. The finish is long, warming, and savoury, leaving a lingering impression of sweet agave, herbal freshness, subtle salinity, and pepper spice. Bottled at a higher strength of 46% ABV, this Cask 004 release offers exceptional intensity, texture, and spirit balance.
