90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Revisited from bottle, the 2017 Cote de Nuits-Villages Le Vaucrain (Domaine Louis Jadot) is showing very well, wafting from the glass with notes of cherries, plums and cassis mingled with hints of potpourri and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety and energetic, with lively acids, refined tannins and a pretty core of fruit. This is a fine effort that really punches above its weight.
