The winery's philosophy leverages this unique terroir situated high on the hillside overlooking both Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet where the stony, limestone-rich soils impart a signature mineral tension and "airy" elegance not found in the richer wines from the valley floor.

The sensory profile is remarkably "greedy" and aromatic, featuring an intense nose of acacia flower, white peach, and exotic fruits, layered with sophisticated notes of grilled almonds, brioche, and a hint of smoky oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet succulent, showcasing a vibrant core of fleshy fruit balanced by a "glassy" acidity and a distinct saline minerality. It is characterized by its tension and "terrific balance," leading to a long, persistent finish with hints of hazelnut, vanilla, and a resin-like edge. This 100% Chardonnay typically has an ABV of 13.5% and was aged in traditional French oak barrels to enhance its structural complexity without overwhelming its aromatic finesse.
