This structured red wine originates from the Morgon AOC in the Beaujolais region of France. Maison Louis Latour, a historic family-run company founded in 1797, is one of Burgundy's most respected 'negociant-eleveurs'. The winery's philosophy in Beaujolais emphasizes traditional Burgundian vinification methods including hand-picking and fermentation in open vats without carbonic maceration to produce elegant wines that express the unique characteristics of the Gamay grape and its specific terroir.

The Louis Latour Morgon reveals a bright garnet-red colour. The sensory profile is intense and complex, featuring a nose of blackberry, blueberry, and wild strawberry. On the palate, the wine is round and fresh, showcasing juicy flavours of black cherry and clove. It is characterized by its ample substance, fine-grained tannins, and a touch of wet-stone minerality that balances its medium-bodied structure. The finish is long, harmonious, and velvety. This 100% Gamay typically has an ABV of 13% and is aged for 8 to 10 months in stainless steel vats to maintain its fruit purity.
