Luce 2021 - 3 Litre Bottle

Luce originates from the renowned Montalcino region in Tuscany, Italy. The estate, Tenuta Luce, was born in the 1990s from a historic partnership between Marchese Vittorio Frescobaldi and Napa Valley pioneer Robert Mondavi, a collaboration that aimed to combine the structure of Italian Sangiovese with the plushness of American-influenced Merlot.

Wine Description

This wine displays a shimmering ruby red colour. The nose is complex and layered, offering crisp red berry fruit such as redcurrant and pomegranate, interwoven with delicate floral essences and subtle hints of spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and enveloping; ripe, supple tannins provide a velvety texture that balances a vibrant, fresh mid-palate. The finish is remarkably long and savoury, showing great concentration and elegance.
