Luce Lux Vitis originates from Italy, within the renowned Tuscany region and the specific subregion of Montalcino. Tenuta Luce was established in the early 1990s as an ambitious collaboration between the Frescobaldi family and Robert Mondavi. Since 2004, the estate has been directed solely by Lamberto Frescobaldi, whose guiding winemaking philosophy focuses on capturing the fullest expression of the local terroir through a highly distinctive and elegant individual style.

Wine Description

This exceptional red blend possesses an intense, deep ruby red colour. The multi-layered aromatics unfold with a brief aeration, releasing a bouquet of redcurrant, well-ripened fruit, and sweet violets, all lifted by a delicate touch of cocoa powder. On the palate, the entry is full-bodied yet velvet-smooth, beautifully supported by a vibrant, refreshing acidity and elegant, enfolding tannins. Complex and beautifully integrated flavors of roasted espresso bean and wild herbs linger on a near-ending, persistent finish.
