Description

This traditional Croatian liqueur is uniquely prepared using hand picked unripe green walnuts, following centuries old household recipes. It presents a dark mahogany or deep amber colour in the glass. The nose is warm and inviting, offering aromas of roasted nuts, caramel, baking spices, and a delicate touch of citrus. On the palate, the spirit is rich, supple, and well rounded, featuring a complex tapestry of flavours where nutty undertones dance with notes of honey, vanilla, and warming spice. It possesses a moderately oily and rich body, leading to a smooth, persistent finish that is slightly tannic yet clean.
