Marca Negra San Martin Mezcal

Marca Negra Sanmartin is manufactured entirely from maguey Sanmartin, an agave Karwinskii related to Cuishe and Cirial that is farmed entirely on the estate. Basilio Pacheco makes this mezcal in La Noria Seccion 13, Ejutla, Oaxaca. It smells like river bed dirt and tastes like cocoa beans, figs, hay, and moss. It has a faint banana and wild mint aftertaste.
