Wine Description
The 2022 Martin's Lane 'Simes Vineyard' Pinot Noir presents a vibrant ruby hue. On the nose, it offers an intricate bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle floral notes, complemented by hints of earth and spice. The palate is refined, showcasing flavours of ripe red berries, delicate oak, and a touch of minerality. This medium-bodied wine exhibits a harmonious balance between acidity and tannins, leading to a long, elegant finish. Crafted exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, it is expected to reach its peak drinking window between 2025 and 2030.
Food Pairing
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with dishes such as roasted duck, grilled salmon, or mushroom risotto. These pairings enhance the wine's depth and character.
