Wine Description
Masi Refosco Grandarella is a complex, full-bodied, and robust red wine. It showcases a dark, opaque red colour. On the nose, it offers firm aromas of blueberries and plums, along with sweet hints of vanilla and cocoa. It is also described as having hints of dry and aromatic herbs and baked plums with vanilla and cloves. The palate is full-bodied, complex, and well-balanced, presenting attractive hints of cherry jam and flavours of cooked fruit and cherries preserved in spirit.
Food Pairing
This complex, full-flavoured wine goes well with grilled or roast red meat and game. It is an excellent pairing for full-flavoured and mature cheeses or strong cheeses.
