Established in Belfast in 1776 by brothers John and James McConnell, McConnell's is one of Ireland's oldest whisky brands. After a hiatus beginning in the 1950s, the brand was revived in 2020, continuing its legacy of producing quality Irish whisky.
5 Year Old Irish Whisky
This expression is a blend of Irish malt and grain whiskies, aged for five years in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrels.
- Color: Honey gold.
- Nose: Light citrus notes, peppered spice, and vanilla undertones.
- Palate: Earthy fruits, butterscotch, and vanilla sweetness, complemented by white pepper and oak woodiness.
