Product description

This energetic and 'approachable' white wine originates from the United States, within the coastal regions of California. Meiomi was originally established in 2006 by fifth-generation winemaker Joseph Wagner and has built a prominent reputation for creating fruit-forward wines that capture the distinct character of the state's diverse coast. Led by winemaker Jason Becker, the brand follows a philosophy of blending grapes from top cool-climate coastal AVAs; including Sonoma, Monterey, and Santa Barbara to achieve a signature style defined by balance, depth, and bold character.

Wine Description

Meiomi Sauvignon Blanc presents a bright and lively appearance in the glass. Its sensory profile is highly aromatic and fresh, opening with an energetic bouquet of zesty citrus, lime zest, stone fruit, and dew-kissed grass, beautifully layered with tropical notes of mango, guava, and pineapple. On the palate, the wine is light-to-medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, showcasing vibrant flavors of lemon and ripe fruit supported by a crisp, refreshing acidity. It is characterized by an elegant profile that carries a subtle, moderate weight and richness to round it out, concluding with a crisp yet wonderfully rounded finish. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc reached an alcohol content (ABV) of 13.5%. The grapes were carefully monitored and harvested across California's multi-appellation microclimates to ensure ideal maturity and flavor concentration before cool-temperature vinification. While the winery implements precision agricultural management, this bottling is not certified organic.
