Meukow XO Ice Panther Cognac

This Cognac originates from France, produced in the prestigious Cognac region. Founded in 1862 by two Silesian brothers, Auguste-Christophe and Gustav Meukow, the House of Meukow is currently owned by the independent family enterprise Compagnie de Bruyère (CDG Group). Celebrated for its signature panther motif on the bottle, the brand blends tradition and contemporary design, utilizing eaux-de-vie sourced primarily from the top crus of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.

Spirit Description

This expression displays a deep mahogany colour with rich amber highlights in the glass. The nose is lush and complex, opening with fragrant notes of candied orange, dried fruit, walnut, and floral jasmine, leading into deeper aromas of vanilla, warm leather, cocoa, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, delivering a rich texture filled with flavours of dried fig, prune, warm spices, and cinnamon, perfectly balanced by elegant rancio and balanced oak structure. The finish is remarkably long, smooth, and warming, carrying subtle notes of dark chocolate, spice, and aged wood. Bottled at an ABV of 40%, it offers outstanding harmony, depth, and spirit balance.
