Wine Description

Castel Firmian Pinot Grigio presents a straw yellow colour, occasionally described as deep straw. Its sensory profile features an aromatic nose of pears, crisp apples, and chamomile, layered with notes of herbs, florals, and stone fruits such as apricots and yellow plums. On the palate, the wine is light-to-medium-bodied and 'refreshing', showcasing juicy flavours of lemon, honeysuckle, and nectarine underpinned by a delicate acidity. It is characterized by its clean, dry, and subtly mineral texture, leading to an elegant finish that is soft yet vibrant. This 100% Pinot Grigio reached an alcohol content of 12.5%. While the cooperative emphasizes sustainable viticulture across its 2,400 hectares of vineyards, this specific bottling is not certified organic.
