Product description
Milagro Select (formerly known as Milagro Select Barrel Reserve) Reposado Tequila is an ultra-premium, small-batch spirit produced in the Highlands (Los Altos) of Jalisco, Mexico. Crafted under parent company William Grant & Sons (NOM 1559 / NOM 1618), the "Select" line was introduced to elevate the brand's core offerings by showcasing meticulous distillation techniques, hand-selected oak aging, and visually striking hand-blown glass bottles featuring a blown-glass agave plant sculpted inside the base.
Spirit Description
Milagro Select Reposado is crafted from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agaves slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for 36 hours. Unlike most tequilas which undergo double distillation, Milagro utilizes a triple-distillation process in a combination of stainless steel pot stills and copper alembic stills to produce a remarkably clean distillate. The spirit matures in a mix of American oak and French oak barrels typically; for 2 to 6 months, striking a balance between bright highland agave sweetness and dry, refined wood tannin.
Colour: Brilliant golden straw with pale amber and platinum highlights.
Aroma: Inviting and aromatic, opening with cooked agave sweetness, warm cinnamon spice, and vanilla bean, complemented by light oak tones, dried citrus peel, and faint floral undertones.
Palate: Smooth, rounded, and dry-leaning on the entry. Upfront flavors of roasted agave, butterscotch, and sweet vanilla yield to dry toasted oak, baking spices (allspice and cinnamon), white pepper, and subtle peach.
Body: Medium-bodied with a soft, silky, and clean viscosity.
Finish: Crisp, dry, and elegant, closing with lingering notes of warm cinnamon spice, light oak, sweet agave, and a gentle pepper spark.
ABV: Bottled at 40% (80 Proof).
