Product description
Produced in the United States, M. Étain is a distinguished Cabernet Sauvignon from the Rutherford appellation within the Napa Valley. The wine is crafted by the renowned Scarecrow winery at the historic J.J. Cohn Estate, a property with a fabled past dating back to 1945 when J.J. Cohn, a legendary MGM executive, was convinced to plant Cabernet vines. Today, the estate is celebrated for its 'Old Men' vines—some of the oldest in the valley—and a winemaking philosophy led by Celia Welch that emphasizes the pure, unadulterated expression of this exceptional terroir.
Wine Description
M. Étain displays a deep ruby appearance and opens with a complex, pronounced aromatic profile of black cherry, blueberry, and sage, layered with notes of lavender, tobacco, and a hint of caramel. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and luxurious, featuring a fresh, juicy core of bright fruit flavors like raspberry and cassis that dominate the entry.
