Product description

Mission Hill Compendium 2013 originates from Canada, within the British Columbia region and the Okanagan Valley subregion. Founded by Anthony von Mandl, Mission Hill Family Estate has established itself as an iconic producer showcasing the unique microclimates and porous, nutrient poor soils of the valley. The winery focuses on sustainable farming and precision viticulture, selecting fruit for its Legacy Collection from designated vineyard blocks in Osoyoos and Oliver to craft cellar worthy wines.

Wine Description

This red wine presents a deep, concentrated ruby colour. The nose offers complex, upfront aromas of red currant, black currant, Italian plum, star anise, cassis, and wild blueberry framed by hints of dried herbs and subtle oak. On the palate, it exhibits a full body with a refined, supple texture supported by firm structure and polished tannins. Stylistically, the wine displays remarkable balance, concentration, and fresh acidity, finishing with persistent length and elegant fruit and oak integration.

  • Varietal composition: 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot
