Product description
Canada is the country of origin for this wine, originating from British Columbia in the Okanagan Valley region. Founded in 1981 by Anthony von Mandl, Mission Hill Family Estate stands as an architectural landmark and a pioneer of premium winemaking in Western Canada. The winery follows sustainable viticultural practices across its south Okanagan estate vineyards, aiming to express the distinct microclimates and gravelly soils through meticulous hand harvesting and small-lot production.
Wine Description
Mission Hill Legacy VQA Compendium displays a deep, luminous garnet red colour in the glass. The complex nose delivers expressive aromas of rich black currant, dark plum, and blackberry, layered with cedary wood spice, cocoa, and subtle savoury herb undertones. On the full-bodied palate, this classic Bordeaux style red blend exhibits fine grained, grippy tannins and bright acidity that bring balance and structure through a long, polished finish. Crafted from a refined blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, it displays remarkable power, balance, and cellar potential.
