Recognizing the exceptional hydrogeological potential of the Cortona lands—characterized by balanced clayey sands, marly sandstones, and shales—the estate utilizes the manual "alberello" (bush-trained) method of cultivation. This practice avoids chemical additives and maximizes light exposure, ensuring a natural, spontaneous development of the vines that emphasizes a deep connection to the land, which inspired the wine's name ("precious earth").
