Naked Grape Merlot - Bundle & Save

The Naked Grape Merlot is a smooth, fruit-driven red wine primarily originating from the sun-drenched vineyards of California (under the Grape Valley Wine Company) and carefully selected regions in Canada (via Arterra Wines). True to the brand's "bare it all" philosophy, this Merlot is crafted to emphasize the natural, unadulterated flavors of the grape rather than heavy oak or tannin. The winery’s goal is to produce a "rich and oh-so-smooth" wine that offers an accessible, unpretentious drinking experience, making it a reliable staple for those who value soft texture and vivid fruit character above all else.

Wine Description

Naked Grape Merlot displays a deep, brilliant ruby color in the glass. The nose is highly aromatic and inviting, dominated by a bouquet of ripe dark cherry and redcurrant, layered with rich notes of raspberry and a subtle hint of caramel. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and velvety, featuring a luscious mouthfeel where sweet black plum and berry flavors are balanced just slightly more sweet than sour. It is characterized by its exceptionally soft tannins and a rounded, easy-going structure that leads to a clean, lingering fruit finish. This wine typically has an ABV ranging from 12.5% to 13.5%.
