Product description

Nardini Tagliatella Liqueur originates from Italy, within the northern region of Veneto in the subregion of Bassano del Grappa. Founded in 1779 by Bortolo Nardini, Ditta Bortolo Nardini is Italy's oldest distillery and remains family owned to this day. The historic house continues to operate along the banks of the Brenta River, blending centuries old distilling heritage with unique regional blending traditions.

Spirit Description

This signature liqueur presents a rich mahogany, amber appearance in the glass. The complex sensory profile opens with an aromatic nose featuring vibrant notes of bitter cherry, orange zest, herbal botanicals, and warm baking spices, laced with subtle undertones of traditional grappa. On the palate, the body is full, smooth, and remarkably well balanced, delivering an intricate interplay between rich fruit sweetness, delicate herbal bitterness, and spicy warmth. The finish is long, velvety, and persistent, leaving trailing notes of dark cherry, cocoa, and lingering herbal complexity. This expression is bottled at an alcohol by volume of 35%.

Accolades

As a legendary house recipe created by blending various Nardini distillates, this expression holds iconic status among Italian digestifs. It is widely celebrated by spirits critics and mixologists for its historic significance and harmoniously complex profile.

Food Pairing

The intricate bittersweet balance and fruit complexity of this liqueur make it an outstanding digestif after a rich meal. It pairs brilliantly with dark chocolate desserts, espresso infused tarts, or traditional almond biscotti. For a savoury match, it serves as an excellent companion to aged cheeses, cured meats, or dried fruit platters.
