Neal Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

A wine to age! Opening a fresh bottle of this wine shows that it is young, juicy, and sits with its bright crimson colour. Characteristics of Maraschino cherries, Red Delicious apple, a hint of savoriness, and strong tannins make this a powerful one. Another bottle was double decanted 2 hours prior for comparison that unfolded its true colours. The red fruit quality evolved into black currant, plum, and baked cranberry with allspice. The hint of savoriness matured into smoked meats, thyme, and black pepper.
