Novaia Amarone Corte Vaona 2019

Azienda Agricola Novaia is situated on the ancient paved barnyard, or 'Corte Vaona,' which has been the property of the Vaona family since the mid-18th century. 

Wine Description

The wine presents a deep garnet red colour. It has an intense and complex bouquet, showcasing hints of ripe red fruit, jam, coffee, bitter chocolate, and tobacco. The palate is rich bodied, generous, and velvety, with a persistent finish that offers flavours of almond, cherry jam, spices, and tobacco. It exhibits a beautiful structure with high extract, well-balanced alcohol, and a particularly intense mineral note on the finish.

Food Pairing

This powerful, structured Amarone pairs wonderfully with equally robust and rich dishes. Traditional pairings include braised or roasted red meats, game, and stews.
