Old Pulteney 23 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky originates from Scotland, in the northern Highland region within the subregion of Caithness. Established in 1826 in the coastal town of Wick, the historic distillery was founded during the height of the local herring fishing boom. Today, the distillery is owned by International Beverage Holdings, a subsidiary of ThaiBev, which continues to preserve its traditional maritime production methods.

Spirit Description

This expression exhibits a warm gold appearance in the glass. The nose presents a layered, complex bouquet filled with orchard fruit, red berries, and sweet honey, balanced perfectly by fresh vanilla, lemon zest, and a soft, waxy coastal air. On the palate, the body is luscious and silky soft, offering an elegant balance of yellow raisins, toasted toffee, and a distinct maritime salinity reminiscent of salted orange. The finish is remarkably long, dry, and spicy, leaving trailing notes of oak, white pepper, and a refreshing hint of coastal brine. This single malt Scotch whisky is bottled at an alcohol by volume of 43%.
