Product description
Patron Anejo Tequila is a luxury aged spirit produced in the Highlands (Los Altos) region of Jalisco, Mexico. Crafted at the historic Hacienda Patron in Atotonilco El Alto (NOM 1492), the expression was created to offer a refined, oak-matured agave profile designed for sipping. Produced under Bacardi, Patron Anejo combines centuries-old artisanal production techniques with delicate barrel aging, bridging the gap between bright highland agave sweetness and warm, woody complexity.
Spirit Description
Patron Anejo is crafted from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agaves slow-cooked in small brick ovens. The cooked piñas are crushed using both a traditional volcanic stone tahona wheel and modern roller mills, fermented in pine wood vats, and double-distilled in small copper pot stills. The distillate is then aged for a minimum of 12 to 15 months in a combination of small French oak, Hungarian oak, and used American bourbon barrels. Master distillers blend these distinct aging lots prior to bottling in Patron's signature hand-blown glass bottle.
Colour: Warm amber with bright golden reflections.
Aroma: Complex and inviting, opening with toasted oak, sweet cooked agave, and vanilla bean, complemented by light dried fruit, raisins, honey, and subtle baking spices.
Palate: Smooth, rich, and well-rounded on the entry. Upfront flavors of roasted agave, butterscotch, and sweet vanilla give way to toasted oak, light caramel, dried apricots, and delicate cinnamon spice.
Body: Medium-to-full-bodied with a soft, silky, and coating texture.
Finish: Long, warm, and elegant, tapering off with lingering notes of sweet oak, subtle cocoa, vanilla, and a gentle black pepper warmth.
ABV: Bottled at 40% (80 Proof).
