Product description
Patrón Silver Tequila is an unaged ultra-premium spirit produced in the Highlands (Los Altos) of Jalisco, Mexico. Crafted at the historic Hacienda Patrón in Atotonilco El Alto (NOM 1492), the brand was founded in 1989 by John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley. Now under the stewardship of Bacardi, Patrón Silver is widely credited with establishing the luxury tequila category globally, combining traditional hand-crafted production methods with strict quality standards to deliver a smooth, agave-forward profile.
Spirit Description
Patrón Silver is crafted from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agaves slow-cooked in small brick ovens for 79 hours. The cooked agaves are crushed using two distinct methods: a traditional two-ton volcanic stone tahona wheel and modern roller mills. The resulting juices are fermented in open-air pine wood vats and double-distilled in small, custom copper pot stills. Unaged and bottled straight from the still, the spirit is presented in Patrón's signature hand-blown glass bottle topped with a natural cork.
Colour: Crystal clear, bright, and pristine.
Aroma: Fresh and inviting, opening with bright raw and cooked agave, crisp citrus zest (lemon and lime), and subtle white pepper spice, complemented by light floral notes and fresh herbal undertones.
Palate: Smooth, clean, and sweet on the entry. Upfront flavors of sweet roasted agave, fresh lime, and grapefruit yield to a light minerality, gentle earthiness, and subtle white pepper.
Body: Medium-bodied with a soft, supple, and rounded texture.
Finish: Crisp, smooth, and refreshing, with lingering light citrus, sweet agave, and a gentle pepper spark without harsh heat.
ABV: Bottled at 40% (80 Proof).
