Product description
From the heart of France’s Alsace region, Domaine Zinck is a family-owned estate founded in 1964 in the village of Eguisheim. Today, the winery is led by Philippe Zinck, who continues his family’s tradition with a forward-thinking focus on sustainability and terroir expression. The estate embraces organic and biodynamic farming to craft wines that are precise, lively, and true to their origin.
Wine Description
This Crémant d'Alsace Brut Rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir, a grape variety known for its finesse and fruit purity. Pale salmon in colour with a vibrant shimmer, the wine opens with aromas of redcurrant, wild strawberry, and rosehip. The palate is lively and refreshing, offering notes of raspberry, citrus zest, and a delicate hint of grapefruit bitterness. A fine, persistent mousse brings elegance and texture, finishing with a clean, dry flourish. Medium-bodied and crisp, it is best enjoyed young to savour its expressive fruit. While not officially certified organic, the winery follows sustainable and eco-conscious practices.
Food Pairing
Perfect alongside shrimp cocktail, salmon tartare, or a fresh goat cheese and beet salad. Also delightful with poultry dishes or charcuterie platters featuring prosciutto and olives.
This pairing highlights the wine’s depth and character.
