Product description

Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut originates from France, within the Champagne region and the Épernay subregion. Maison Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët, establishing a legacy that combines a passion for botany with meticulous winemaking. The house is renowned for its инноватор approach to Chardonnay, which serves as the flagship variety and provides the floral elegance that has become the brand's signature over more than two centuries.

Wine Description

This champagne presents a silvery gold colour in the glass and possess a medium to full body. The sensory profile is vibrant and stylish, featuring an aromatic nose of spring blossoms, yellow orchard fruits, and honeyed citrus, rounded out by hints of buttery brioche, warm biscuits, and vanilla. On the palate, it delivers a lively and focused experience with layers of lemon, green apple, and peach supported by a frothy mousse and crisp acidity. The finish is clean, persistent, and uncomplicated, often revealing a touch of candied ginger and mineral tension.

  • Varietal Composition: A blend typically consisting of 40% Pinot Meunier, 35% Pinot Noir, and 25% Chardonnay.

  • Stylistic Notes: The wine is celebrated for its harmonious balance and rounded texture, achieved through full malolactic fermentation and aging for twice the minimum required duration.

  • ABV: Typically 12% to 12.5%.

  • Organic Status: While the house is committed to sustainable development and the preservation of its exceptional terroir, this specific bottling is not certified organic.
