Phantom Creek Estates is a state of the art winery established on the Black Sage Bench, collaborating with legendary Bordeaux winemaking consultant Eric Boissenot. The winery's philosophy focuses on sustainable and organic farming techniques, crafting precision-driven, single-vineyard red blends that reflect the distinct sandy, alluvial soils of the southern Okanagan.
Wine Description
This deep ruby red wine reveals complex aromas of dark plum, blackberry, and cassis, interwoven with notes of sweet tobacco, graphite, dried sage, and warm baking spices. On the palate, it displays a full body with rich fruit concentration, framed by structured, fine-grained tannins and a vibrant line of natural acidity. The finish is long and persistent, with lingering savory elements and dark cocoa accents. The varietal composition is a Bordeaux-style blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, rounded out with Cabernet Franc and Merlot. It has an alcohol content of 14.5% ABV and is not certified organic.
