Product description
This elegant dry rosé originates from Canada, within British Columbia and the famous Okanagan Valley appellation. Phantom Creek Estates is a state of the art winery founded by Richter Bai on the upper terrace of the Black Sage Bench near Oliver. Sourced from dedicated organic blocks across the estate's terroirs—including Becker, Ryegrass, Richter, and Evernden Spring Vineyards in the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys—the property operates under strict organic farming principles. The estate's viticultural philosophy focuses on low yield precision and sustainable farming to reflect the true purity and character of the region's unique gravelly soils.
Wine Description
This 2025 vintage exhibits a brilliant, delicate pale salmon colour in the glass. The nose opens with an expressive bouquet of wild strawberries, raspberries, and delicate rose petals, complemented by subtle hints of wild white strawberry and light spice. On the palate, it delivers a bright, refreshing, and beautifully balanced experience. The mouthfeel is smooth and supple, underpinned by lively natural acidity that carries through to a clean, polished finish. Crafted as an organic rosé blend from early harvested fruit to preserve vibrancy and freshness, the wine carries an alcohol by volume of 13.5%. It is certified organic.
Food Pairing
The crisp acidity and delicate red berry fruit profile make this rosé exceptionally food friendly. It pairs wonderfully with spinach salad featuring grilled chicken and fresh strawberries, a grilled chicken burger, or a goat cheese tart with sun dried tomatoes. Structurally, its bright freshness also complements grilled salmon, tuna niçoise, mixed bean salads, antipasto platters, and fresh olives.
