More Information
Product description
From France’s Burgundy region, this Pinot Noir comes from the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune subregion. The wine is produced by Château Philippe-Le-Hardi, a historic estate dating back to the 14th century, once owned by Philippe the Bold, Duke of Burgundy. Today, the domaine is known for its commitment to sustainable viticulture and expressing the distinct terroirs of Burgundy.
Wine Description
This Pinot Noir shows a brilliant ruby colour in the glass. The aromas are vibrant with red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle floral tones and a hint of earthiness. On the palate, it offers medium body with refreshing acidity, soft tannins, and flavours of ripe berries, crushed violets, and light spice. The finish is smooth and elegant, lingering with a mineral touch that reflects its limestone-rich soils.
Food Pairing
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, duck breast, and grilled salmon, as well as mushroom risotto or soft cheeses like Brie and Camembert.
