The 2016 Pol Roger Brut Vintage Blanc de Blanc displays a crystal-clear appearance with silvery tints and a delicate, persistent mousse. The bouquet is pure and direct, initially revealing fine minerality and white flowers before opening into complex aromas of grapefruit, candied lemon, and fresh croissants. On the palate, the wine is exceptionally fresh and crisp with a crunchy texture, featuring notes of citrus zest and toasted overtones balanced by a firm saline finish. This 100% Chardonnay cuvée is aged for six years in deep, cool cellars 33 metres below ground, resulting in a refined body and remarkable structural balance.
