Wine Description

This 100% Cabernet Franc presents a deep red to purple colour with beautiful reflections in the glass. The nose opens with classic varietal aromas of cassis, cedar, tobacco, and exotic spices, accompanied by a distinct whiff of bell pepper and cool earth. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied, juicy, and concentrated, delivering flavours of ripe black cherry, blackcurrant, ground pepper, and star anise. It is characterized by excellent balance, fresh acidity, and a smooth structure framed by velvety, supple tannins that give it an almost weightless texture. Fermented with natural yeasts in open-topped wooden fermenters and aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, it has an optimal drinking window extending up to 15 years from its vintage date.

The wine's savory profile and structured tannins make it a perfect companion for roasted duck, goose, or game birds. It also pairs wonderfully with hearty meat dishes such as venison, veal, and grilled lamb chops, or savory tomato-based pasta dishes that complement its herbal acidity.
