Protea Dry Rose 2025

Protea Dry Rose originates from the Western Cape of South Africa, specifically sourced from vineyards in the Swartland and Franschhoek Valley. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, the estate was taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003, who constructed a state of the art facility that modernized their production. The winery is committed to sustainability and the conservation of its terroir, producing the Protea range as a tribute to South Africa's national flower and the unique floral diversity of the region.

Wine Description

This elegant rose presents a pale pink to subtle blush hue in the glass. The bouquet is impressively fruity, offering vibrant aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and peach, complemented by nuances of apple blossom and grapefruit pith. On the palate, the wine is juicy and fresh, displaying flavors of ripe berries, citrus peel, and a hint of Turkish Delight. It is medium bodied with a creamy texture and a lively acidity that leads into a clean, spiced finish with notes of orange peel and pink peppercorns.
