Prunotto is a historic estate founded as a winemaking co-operative in 1904 and later renamed by Alfredo Prunotto in 1923. Owned by the Antinori family since 1994, the winery was the first in the region to establish the 'cru' concept, identifying specific vineyards of excellence for single vineyard vinification. The winemaking philosophy emphasizes a balance between tradition and innovation, utilizing sustainable agriculture and manual techniques to express the finest potential of each unique terroir.

The Prunotto Occhetti Nebbiolo d'Alba displays a garnet-tinged ruby red colour.
