Product description

Introduction

Rivarose Méditerranée Sparkling Rosé is a sparkling wine from France, produced in the Provence region, specifically under the Méditerranée I.G.P. (Indication Géographique Protégée) appellation. The winery's heritage dates back to 1876 when it was known as Vins Rameau, and it is the oldest sparkling wine producer in Provence. The current name, Rivarose, was adopted in 2004. The winery's philosophy is rooted in traditional methods while specializing exclusively in high-quality rosé sparkling wines.

Wine Description

The wine has a delicate, luminous pale pink colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The aromatic profile is fresh and intense, offering beautiful notes of red berries, particularly raspberry, wild strawberry, and cherry. Further aromas include subtle hints of flowers and citrus.

The varietal composition is a blend of traditional Provençal grapes, including Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah. It is a medium bodied wine. The palate is lively and fresh, with lovely roundness and a crisp texture. Flavours of red berries and cherry dominate the taste. Stylistically, it is a dry, elegant, and well balanced sparkling rosé. The wine undergoes its second fermentation using the traditional méthode close (Charmat method) to preserve the fresh fruit character. The finish is long, clean, and refreshing. The ABV is 12.5%. It is ready to be consumed now.
