Product description
This wine originates from Canada, within British Columbia's South Okanagan Valley in the Golden Mile Bench region. Road 13 Vineyards is known for working with some of the oldest Chenin Blanc vines in North America, planted on glacial gravel soils. The winery's philosophy focuses on traditional-method sparkling production, low intervention, and harvesting at optimal acidity to preserve the vineyard's rich heritage and site-specific purity.
Wine Description
This sparkling wine displays a brilliant pale straw hue with a delicate, fine-beaded mousse. On the nose, it opens with bright aromas of green apple, ripe pear, citrus zest, and honeysuckle, accompanied by subtle nuances of toasty brioche and yeast from extended lees aging. On the palate, it exhibits a light to medium body with a lively, mouthwatering acidity and a creamy texture. Vibrant tree fruit and lemon flavors lead into a long, clean finish with a pronounced stony minerality. The varietal composition is 100% Chenin Blanc. It typically has an alcohol content of approximately 12.3% ABV and is not certified organic.
