The winery's philosophy for this bottling is to create an elevated, richer expression by utilizing the Sauvignon Musqué clone, which is prized for its intense floral aromatics and tropical fruit profile.

Wine Description

This wine presents a glistening beauty with a vibrant white hue. The sensory profile is exceptionally aromatic and complex, featuring an intense nose of orange blossom, grapefruit, lemon balm, and river stones. On the palate, the wine is medium-to-full-bodied with a generous, soft texture the result of aging on the lees (sur lie). It showcases juicy flavors of kiwi, yellow peach, and passionfruit, balanced by a striking, Sancerre-like acidity. It is characterized by its "California sun" ripeness and mineral complexity, leading to a long finish with subtle notes of sweet almond and vanilla panna cotta. This complex blend is primarily Sauvignon Blanc enhanced with 6% Viognier and Semillon to add volume. It was aged in a combination of stainless steel, 40% French oak, and a unique "sideways concrete egg" tank. It typically has an ABV of 13.5%.
