Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 2020

Rodney Strong Vineyards was established in 1959 by dancer-turned-winemaker Rod Strong, who settled on Sonoma County for its world-class quality and diversity of wines. Since 1989, the winery has been owned by the Klein Family, fourth generation California farmers committed to sustainability in both the vineyards and the winery.

Wine Description

The 2020 'Cabernet Sauvignon' from Sonoma County is a classic, full bodied red wine. It opens with a bouquet of black currant, ripe plum, and aromatic spices. On the palate, it presents a warm, rich profile of black cherry and black plums, mixed with a hint of milk chocolate, black pepper, and oak spice. The flavour profile also suggests dark chocolate and espresso notes. It is known for its velvety mouthfeel, supple and warm, dense tannins, and a long, elegant finish.
