Rosebank 32 Year Old (Release 3)

1 unit available online.
Product description

Rosebank Distillery was founded on the banks of the Forth & Clyde Canal, in Falkirk, in 1840.

Over time, Rosebank came to be revered as 'The King of the Lowlands' by whisky connoisseurs the world over. It has always been a beguiling single malt - delicate and floral, yet full of depth and complexity. This contrast reflects the unique production process, which juxtaposed triple distillation with worm tub condensers. The result makes for a very special and captivating whisky.

The distillery closed, seemingly for good, in 1993. It was saved just in time by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2017, with new make spirit flowing again from the stills in 2023.

The mouthfeel is velvety with good body and hints of malt, thyme, butterscotch, tropical fruits, drying oak and softly warming spice. The soft and long finish has notes of citrus, honeyed porridge and toasted walnut.
