Produced in the United States, this Pinot Noir originates from the Eola Amity Hills subregion of Oregon's Willamette Valley. Domaine Drouhin Oregon was established in 1987 by the Drouhin family of Burgundy, seeking to combine French winemaking soul with Oregon soil. The family expanded their legacy in 2013 by purchasing the Roserock vineyard, a site renowned for its ancient volcanic soils and cool climate influence from the Van Duzer Corridor.
Wine Description
This wine presents a vibrant and poised sensory profile, capturing the characteristic purity and tension of the Eola Amity Hills estate. On the nose, the wine reveals complex aromas of lavender, violet, and cherry pie, underscored by warm baking spices and an earthy undertone. The palate is supple yet firmly structured, offering bright flavours of strawberry, plum, and marionberry complemented by exotic notes of cassis and cardamom.
