More Information
Product description
Produced in New Zealand, this Sauvignon Blanc hails from Marlborough’s prestigious Rapaura subregion in the Wairau Valley. The Rimapere vineyard was established in 2012 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, part of the renowned Rothschild wine family. The name ‘Rimapere’, meaning ‘five arrows’ in Māori, is a tribute to both the Rothschild family emblem and New Zealand’s cultural heritage.
Wine Description
This Sauvignon Blanc displays a bright pale gold hue with green reflections. Aromas of lime, pink grapefruit, passionfruit, kiwi, and fresh-cut herbs leap from the glass, supported by subtle notes of white flowers and flint. On the palate, it is vibrant and zesty, delivering layers of citrus, tropical fruit, and earthy minerality. The wine has a medium body with racy acidity, finishing long and precise with a clean, elegant persistence.
Food Pairing
This expressive wine pairs beautifully with goat cheese, fresh oysters, asparagus risotto, or sushi. The lively acidity and mineral edge balance rich or creamy dishes, making it versatile across many cuisines.
