This red blend originates from the United States, specifically from Sonoma County, California. The ROWEN Wine Company's philosophy is a study in Sonoma County terroir, creating wines that are unbound by tradition yet grounded in the history of the land. The wine is sourced from the Cooley Ranch Vineyard in northeastern Sonoma County, a high-elevation site with volcanic-based soil and elevations ranging from 500 to 2,040 feet.
Wine Description
The aroma profile offers dark cherries, blackberries, and sweet toasted oak. Other aromatic notes include black raspberries, cocoa, black pepper, pencil shavings, dried herbs, blackcurrants, charcuterie, and tobacco leaf with red fruit touches. On the palate, you will find notes of juicy cassis, sweet vanilla, light floral elements, nutmeg, and layers of cherry and cola.
